Sound & Chair ’24 第1弾アーティストラインナップを発表！
TAMTAM、 ermhoi + marty holoubek、Ajateなど、開放的な河川敷でクラフトビールを片手にゆったりと過ごす時間に寄り添うLIVEアーティストとDJ、18組の出演が決定。
今年1月にバンド初の海外リリースとなる『Ramble In The Rainbow』を発表し、Rolling Stone誌“Future Of Music 2024”に選出されるなど各地で反響を呼んでいる4人組バンド「TAMTAM」、Black Boboiのメンバーで日本とアイルランドをルーツに持ち、ジャンルに囚われない独自の世界観で幻想的なサウンドを奏でる「ermhoi」と、SMTKやHishakaku Quartetの共同リーダーなどを務める注目のベーシスト「Marty Holoubek」によるデュオ、フランスの国際フェス「ヴィエンヌ・ジャズ・フェスティヴァル」や世界最大のワールドミュージックフェスWOMADにも出演を果たす「Ajate」、近年世界的に再評価される日本の環境音楽シーンを牽引してきた「Yoshio Ojima」など9組のLIVEアーティスト、そして近年、ダンス・ミュージックに留まらずジャズ、アンビエント、バレアリック、エクスペリメンタルなど様々な音楽を独自の審美眼で繋いでいくDJスタイルに定評のある「Kaoru Inoue」、音楽に関する執筆活動の傍ら、レーベルringsのプロデューサーとしてレイ・ハラカミの再発などにも携わる「Masaaki Hara」、1970年代後半から1980年代のエレクトロニックポップを集めたアルバム 「Tokyo Dreaming」を手掛ける「Nick Luscombe」、ジャンルレスでディガー精神あふれる選曲を得意とするフランス出身のDJ/セレクターでありながら、2023年よりSNS以降のフレンチカルチャーの今世紀的先端解読を試行するDOMMUNEの新番組「Nouveau DICTIONNAIRE français」のレギュラーMCも務める「Chloé Juliette」をはじめとする9組のDJが川沿いを彩る音楽空間を演出します。多摩川流域で盛り上がるクラフトビールのブルワリー出店には、新たに「KUNITACHI BREWERY」が決定し、実力派の総勢16ブルワリーが出店が集結。音楽とともに個性豊かなクラフトビールの数々をお楽しみいただけます。
Sound & Chair ’24 Announces First Artist Lineup!
TAMTAM, ermhoi + marty holoubek, Ajate, and more will be among the 18 live artists and DJs who will be performing to accompany the time spent relaxing on the open riverbank with a craft beer in hand.
Nine live artists have been selected, including the four-piece band “TAMTAM”, whose “Ramble In The Rainbow,” the band’s first international release in January of this year, was selected by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the “Future Of Music 2024”. The duo of “ermhoi”, a member of Black Boboi who has Japanese and Irish roots and produces a fantastical sound with a unique, genre-defying worldview, and “Marty Holoubek” who co-leads SMTK and Hishakaku Quartet, will also perform. The list also includes “Ajate,” who has performed at the international festival “Vienne Jazz Festival” in France and the world’s largest world music festival WOMAD, and “Yoshio Ojima,” who has been leading the Japanese environmental music scene, which has been re-evaluated worldwide in recent years. Nine DJs have also been confirmed, including “Kaoru Inoue”, who in recent years has established a reputation for his DJ style, not only in dance music but also in jazz, ambient, Balearic, and experimental music, connecting them with his unique aesthetic sense; “Masaki Hara”, who writes about music and is involved in the reissue of Ray Harakami’s albums as a producer for the label rings, “Nick Luscombe,” who produced “Tokyo Dreaming,” an album of electronic pop from the late 1970s to the 1980s, “Chloé Juliette” a French DJ and selector who specializes in genre-less and digger-oriented music selection, and a regular MC for DOMMUNE‘s new program “Nouveau DICTIONNAIRE français,” which will attempt to decipher the cutting edge of French culture in the 21st century after SNS from 2023, and more.
“KUNITACHI BREWERY” has been newly selected as one of the craft beer breweries to open their stalls in the Tama River basin, bringing the total number of talented breweries to 16. Enjoy a wide variety of unique craft beers along with rich music.
